Age (6 months - 4yrs): Care including two snacks and lunch (Vegetarian options are available). Participating in Canada-Wide Early Learning and Child Care program (CWELCC). Lower fees, caring and supportive environment.

Safety and Services

A very safe, nurturing, and above all, trusted environment. Children at this stage benefit from learning through toys, therefore all toys are disinfected weekly. Fire drills are conducted monthly to ensure the safety of the children. Children will also be potty trained when ready (typically around 18 months old). Children also learn to be independent (putting their own shoes and jackets on). All furniture in the facility is child safe and air conditioning is provided.

Who Am I?

My name is Rana Jaffar, and it has been ten years since I have started my home daycare. I am a Registered Early Childhood Educator (RECE), and am CPR-C certified. I have also received a B.A. Equivalency from the University of Toronto. In addition to my experience in running a home daycare, I have worked in a daycare centre in Toronto for ten years. Now I am settled as a home daycare provider accepting; children aged 6 months to three years old.

I believe that the relationship that exists between the parent, child, and caregiver is vital in running a successful home daycare. Throughout my years of experience in this field I have concluded that the attention and focus that is provided to a child in a home daycare is important to their development as opposed to a far larger group in a daycare centre. The first group of children I had worked with were infants and toddlers. Many children have since gone off to kindergarten and have made a successful transition from the years they spent at this daycare to a school environment. Entrusting your loved ones under my care will provide them with respect, compassion, and education.
